Installation
Mounting Method #1: Suspension Kit
Our Suspension Kit Makes Installation a Breeze. Simply Screw the Anchor into Your Mounting Surface, Install the Included Aircraft Cable, and Cut It to Your Desired Length. to Install the Closed End-Cap onto the Light Fixture, Slide Cable-Grip Retaining Screws into the Rear Channel of the Aluminum Housing. Insert End-Cap, and Tighten Cable-Gripper onto the Light Fixture. the Aircraft Cable Can Now Be Pulled into the Cable-Grip and Adjusted to the Desired Suspension Height.
Surface Mounting Method (Direct-Screw)
For Surface-Mounted Applications, Drill a Hole Specific to Your Mounting Screw Diameter into the Aluminum Housing. Counter-Sink the Hole so a Flat-Head Screw Can Sit Flush with the Housing. Then, Install the LED Strip over the Screw.
Cutting
To Make Your Lighting Fixtures a Custom Length, Snap The Cover onto the Profile and Place the Channel onto a Miter Saw with the Cover Facing down. This Way, You Can Easily Cut both the Channel and Cover to Your Desired Length at the Same Time. for Best Results, Use a New Fine-Tooth Blade to Cut the Aluminum Channels for LED Strips. the Diffuser/cover is Fragile and Will Easily Break with an Old Blade. Lower the Saw Blade Slowly While Cutting to Avoid Breaking a Lens or Diffuser.
